Hayashibara Co., Ltd., the manufacturer of TREHA^®, has been awarded a "Silver" rating in a sustainability assessment by EcoVadis, (headquartered in France), one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings for global supply chains. The "Silver" rating is awarded to companies that score in the top 25% of all eligible companies*.

EcoVadis assesses suppliers operating in 175+ countries across 200+ industries, and assessment results are tested on over 100,000 companies.

EcoVadis conducts objective examinations and assessment of companies’ sustainability through independent reviews and analysis, and scores the performance on company’s policies, actions and results, in four sustainability themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

In this year's survey, Hayashibara again achieved high scores for activities in Environment, Labor & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement. In the area of Ethics, Hayashibara increased its score significantly due to activities such as anti-bribery and other anti-corruption measures, awareness-raising on information security, and auditing of control procedures. Its overall score increased from last year and earning a high assessment.
