In conjunction with the World Bread Day 2020, Nagase Food Ingredients (NFI) had sponsored TREHA™ for a community event in Singapore to a total of 23 participating bakeries for a good course. TREHA™ was incorporated into over 7,000 wholemeal raisin buns. TREHA™ benefits are well known to improve product moisture retention, colour, flavour, texture, and thus, the shelf life of the product. The buns were donated to charity, distributed by appointed Food from the Heart to 7 agencies including Boys’ Town and Jamiyah Halfway House
These buns made were also marked in a record breaking event of Singapore Book of Record for the longest line packaged wholemeal raisin buns measuring 70 meters. This meaningful event was organized by Chef Judy Koh from Creative Culinaire The School and NTUC’s Employment and Employability Institute (e2i).
Managing Director of Nagase Singapore Momose Takashi and Regional Food Business Director Ms. Kao Chai Yen were present to accept the certification of appreciation as sponsor.
